WELDER / FABRICATOR (WELDER-FABRICATOR)MAIN DUTIES
Layout, assembly and welding of fabricated metals. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and welding symbols.
SKILLS AND APPLICATION CRITERIA
- Blueprint reading
- Knowledge of trigonometry and geometry
- Expertise in laying out stairs and guardrails
- Experience in fabricating complex architectural metalwork
- Experience in welding steel, aluminum and stainless steel
- Experience in architectural polishing of stainless steel
- Education level: Incomplete Vocational Diploma (DEP)
- Years of experience related to the position: 5 years of experience
- Languages required: English and French (spoken and written)
- Other languages or details: Spanish an asset
