Education: Bachelor's degree. Computer science. Work setting: Information technology (IT) infrastructure.

Tasks: Install software. Install web server hardware and software. Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks.

Troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade web server hardware and software. Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software. Implement data, software and hardware security procedures.

Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations. Modify Web pages, applets and scripts. Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations.

Computer and technology knowledge: Website creation and management software. Web service design. Screening questions: Are you available to start on the date listed in the job posting?.
