Pool of occasional substitutes - Direct student support service

Substitute replacements among support staff involve direct student-service roles in elementary and secondary schools, such as special education technicians, daycare and school-environment staff, and other school support positions.

These replacements do not involve classroom teachers. Instead, they aim to provide support to students, promote their development, well-being and integration into the school environment, and contribute to the smooth operation of the services offered in schools.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible to work as substitute support staff in the elementary and secondary schools of the Centre de services scolaire des Draveurs, candidates must:

• Hold at minimum a high school diploma (DES) or a recognized equivalent certificate;
• Demonstrate the required skills when they are specified for the position in question.

Priority will be given to individuals who possess the specific skills related to the needs of the institutions.

The Centre de services scolaire des Draveurs is an organization subject to the Act respecting the laicity of the State. Any person hired by the school service centre agrees to comply with its provisions.
