Snow Removal Equipment Operator - Class 5

Locations: Ottawa Central, Nepean & Barrhaven | Seasonal

WHAT YOU GET

• Fixed seasonal pay based on your experience and equipment qualifications.

THE POSITION

• Safely operate snow removal and plowing equipment
• Safely operate wheel loaders and heavy snow removal equipment
• Operate equipment fitted with snow pushers, buckets, blades and other approved attachments
• Inspect your equipment and report any issues
• Follow site instructions and communicate with your team.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 2 years of experience operating commercial vehicles required; experience in snow removal or operating small or large equipment is an asset.
• Valid Class 5 licence and a clean driving record with the SAAQ.
• Reliable transportation to LaSalle or assigned sites (including night shifts and weekends).
• Reliability and commitment to safety.
• Availability for snow events and assigned shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Hours vary depending on weather and operational needs; no predetermined number of hours is associated with seasonal pay. Adjustments to the applicable minimum wage and overtime are based on hours actually worked.
